While on a recent trip upcountry in Northern Thailand I came across a young Thai girl who was making these wonderful teak bookmarks. Her work is that of a true artist and would complement any book it was used in.
All bookmarks are new and unused. Design #3 features a handcrafted Asian bull elephant and baby elephant done in 3D on a background of natural teakwood. It measures 7 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide. On the top three inches are bull elephant heads done in 3D, the bottom 5" is open so you can mark your place in the book. These bookmarks are handcrafted so no two will ever be 100% alike but that is part of what makes them unique.
